My life, like everyone else, has a theme- pages that go together in a specific order and tell a story. My story is not any better, worse, or more interesting than anyone else, necessarily, but I choose to write it out to share it.

I am a mom of two boys who have helped developed the theme of my story. Though I am married, my husband is in the US Navy and has missed majority of the last 4 years that my boys have been around. So, though I am not technically a single mom, I have lived like one for most of my married life and it has been the toughest thing I have ever had to do. That is what this blog is about- my journey through what I thought was years of being alone and how God proved me wrong.

Looking back at the last 4 years I can hear God saying “I’ve got you” at each critical moment and I want to share with other single moms that you, also, are not along and God is saying to you “I’ve got you!”
